Be the Purple Cow of Eczema

What do George Lucas, Bill Gates, Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, Ghandi, and Helen Keller all have in common? They were all ORDINARY people that willed themselves to become EXTRAORDINARY people.

The name of this work is titled "Be the Purple Cow of Eczema" because although none of us asked to be born with eczema, psoriasis, or rosacea, by being a purple cow, we can mitigate or in some instances eliminate eczema in our life by exhibiting leadership.
-Leadership takes time-it takes training and lots of trial and error.
-Leadership takes a sense of purpose-it takes vision and a sense of mission.
"A good leader is someone you would follow to a place you would not go by yourself." Joel Baker

As with the above-stated persons achieved successes, eliminating eczema will require doing things and making decisions that at times will have us looking like that purple cow in the pasture that stands out like a sore thumb amongst the black, white, spotted, and brown cows that are grazing.

Managing the HORRIBLE Eczema Crises!

Managing eczema with your child takes a predetermined and constant approach in a lot of ways. Firstly, consider strongly how you can eliminate some of the factors that may be triggering or exacerbating your child's eczema. The easiest way to mitigate eczema pillage is to keep the childs skin moisturized nightly (wet wrap theory). Keeping the eczema clean and then following up with daily use of emollient that is made for the moisturizing of the skin.
It will also be important to ensure the eczema patch does not get infected from scratching with dirty hands or nails as this will make the eczema worse. Consider if having pets is adding to the allergens in the household, which also exacerbates eczema pillage in kids. Moms and Dads we also need to get into the daily habit of vacuuming and dusting to manage eczema with our children.

P.S. Did you know that children with severe allergies are 46% more likely to have eczema.
